NOTICE OF ELECTION

Notice is hereby given by the Fox River & Countryside Fire/Rescue District that the first day to circulate nominating petitions for the position of District Trustee for the April 6, 2027 election is August 25, 2026. Sample nominating petitions will be available at the District’s Station 1-located at 34W500 Carl Lee Road, St. Charles, IL, 60174 or online at the Illinois State Board of Elections’ website (www.elections.il.gov). The regular business office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Petitions must be filed at the office of the District no earlier than November 16, 2026, at 8:00am, and no later than November 23, 2026, at 5:00pm. The last day for filling objections to nominating petitions is December 2, 2026. Terms: Two (2) 6-Year Term
